Held by a block wire guide, it is simultaneously formed by a pitch tool designed to open or close the coils. All diameter and pitch controls are centrally located on top of the machine, allowing the operator to watch the spring being formed while he makes his adjustments to bring the part into tolerance. When the part is complete, the top or bottom butter, depending on coil rotation, swings in its arc to make a clean cut on the arbor. The spring is then ejected from the machine. This amazingly simple production of complex, precision springs is achieved with a minimum of noise and vibration. This is a result of the designed in flexibility and ruggedness that are unique to ASC-11A Springmakers. |
